Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes Trek
The Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes is an adventurous and scenic trek that offers an alternative to the traditional route. It is a circular trek, so you won’t have to retrace your steps, which makes it even more exciting. The route is less crowded, giving trekkers the opportunity to enjoy the serene and untouched beauty of the region.
The trek starts in Lukla and follows the same initial route to Namche Bazaar as the classic Everest Base Camp trek. However, after Namche Bazaar, the path diverges. Instead of heading toward Syangboche, you will head towards Dole and Machhermo, eventually reaching the stunning Gokyo Lakes in the northwest.
