For those looking for an extra challenge, there’s an optional hike to Tsergo Ri (5,100m), offering even more spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

Langtang, situated in the mid-elevation region of Langtang National Park, is a center of Tibetan Buddhism and home to diverse cultural practices. Itinerary

Day 01 :
Arrival in Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Relax and take in the sights of the vibrant city or explore the local area at your leisure.

Day 02 :
Kathmandu Sightseeing & Preparation for Trek

After breakfast, embark on a half-day Kathmandu sightseeing tour visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple)Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. In the afternoon, meet your guide for a trek briefing and prepare for the upcoming adventure

Day 03 :
Drive to Syabrubesi (1550m) – 9 Hours

Today, take a scenic 9-hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the trek. The drive will pass through rural landscapes, terraced fields, and rivers, offering glimpses of the Himalayan foothills. Overnight stay in Syabrubesi.

Day 04 :
Trek to Lama Hotel (2380m)

Begin your trek with a 5-6 hour hike to Lama Hotel (2380m). The trail passes through dense forests of bamboo, rhododendron, and pine, and offers glimpses of the Langtang peaks. Overnight at a teahouse in Lama Hotel.

Day 05 :
Trek to Langtang Valley (3500m)

Trek for about 6-7 hours to Langtang Valley (3500m). As you ascend, enjoy spectacular views of Langtang Lirung and the surrounding mountains. Langtang Valley is a beautiful spot with several Tibetan-style villages. Overnight in Langtang village.

Day 06 :
Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3900m)

Today, you’ll trek for 3-4 hours to Kyangjin Gompa (3900m), a famous monastery and a central hub in the Langtang region. Enjoy stunning views of Langtang LirungGangchenpo, and other nearby peaks. Overnight stay in Kyangjin Gompa.

Day 07 :
Explore Around Kyangjin Gompa

Acclimatization day at Kyangjin Gompa. You can take a hike up to Tsergo Ri (5033m) for panoramic views of the Langtang range or explore the area around the monastery. Overnight at Kyangjin Gompa.

Day 08 :
Trek to Ghora Tabela (2050m)

After acclimatization, begin your descent with a 5-6 hour trek to Ghora Tabela (2050m). Enjoy the peaceful environment of Ghora Tabela, a quiet village offering great views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight at a local teahouse in Ghora Tabela.

Day 09 :
Trek to Bamboo (2100m)

Continue your descent to Bamboo (2100m) with a 4-5 hour trek. The trail passes through dense forests and remote settlements, with views of the Langtang Valley. Overnight at a teahouse in Bamboo.

Day 10 :
Trek to Thulo Syabrubesi (2200m)

Trek for 5-6 hours to Thulo Syabrubesi (2200m), a larger village known for its stunning mountain views and local culture. This is a great place to rest and enjoy the surrounding landscapes. Overnight in Thulo Syabrubesi.

Day 11 :
Trek to Sing Gompa (3580m)

Today, trek to Sing Gompa (3580m), a peaceful area known for its monastery and breathtaking views of the Langtang range. This is a 6-7 hour trek through forests and alpine meadows. Overnight at Sing Gompa.

Day 12 :
Trek to Gosainkunda (4381m)

Trek for 5-6 hours to Gosainkunda (4381m), a sacred alpine lake that holds great significance for Hindus and Buddhists. The lake is surrounded by towering peaks and is an ideal spot for spiritual reflection. Overnight camping or in a teahouse near Gosainkunda.

Day 13 :
Cross Lauribina Pass (4600m) & Descend to Tharepati (3600m)

Today, you will cross the challenging Lauribina Pass (4600m), which offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. After crossing the pass, descend to Tharepati (3600m) for an overnight stay. This day can be physically demanding, so take your time to acclimatize and rest

Day 14 :
Trek to Kutumsang

Trek for 5-6 hours through lush forests and small villages to reach Kutumsang, a beautiful spot to rest and take in the natural surroundings. Overnight at a local teahouse.

Day 15 :
Trek to Chisapani

Continue your trek for about 5 hours to Chisapani, a popular trekking stop with views of the Annapurna, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal ranges. Enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere. Overnight in Chisapani.

Day 16 :
Trek to Sundarijal & Drive Back to Kathmandu

On your final day of trekking, hike for about 4-5 hours to Sundarijal (1460m), a town near the Kathmandu Valley. From Sundarijal, drive back to Kathmandu (about 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.

Day 17 :
Departure for Your Next Destination

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time in Kathmandu for shopping or sightseeing. Our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure.
